Becoming a proxy means that health professionals can speak to you on behalf of a patient (e.g. if you are a carer for a patient or if you would like to speak on behalf of a family member) and you are able to request tests and medicines for the patients as well as book their appointment.
Proxy access also allows someone other than the patient to access and manage parts of their GP online services account.
The proxy is given their own online access account (rather than using the patient’s login details). It is often used by the parents or recognised carers of young children, and recognised carers of adults.
To become a proxy, please contact the surgery on 01922 624 605, after 10 am.
